What is your guiding principle in everyday life?
I believe in people-centered leadership and patient care. To me, both giving and receiving trust is a privilege.
I am convinced that trust is never one-sided. It is not only the patient who places trust in the doctor, but also the doctor who places trust in the patient. This trust is reflected in the patient’s willingness to take an active and responsible role in their treatment after receiving detailed information and guidance, and to follow the agreed recommendations to support their own recovery.
For me, this is what a genuine doctor–patient relationship built on partnership truly means.
If you could choose another profession, what would it be?
I would definitely stay in healthcare. Most likely, I would work in a field of general medicine where making good decisions quickly is essential.
